Corina Hazlett is an Artist and an Art Teacher.  Her talk begins with a humorous and engaging introduction, setting the stage for a personal journey filled with ups and downs. She reflects on her upbringing in a rural countryside, sharing anecdotes from her childhood and schooling experiences. Despite not excelling academically or athletically, she emphasizes the importance of seizing opportunities and being adaptable, drawing inspiration from her own life experiences.

She narrates pivotal moments in her life, such as traveling overseas, encountering inspiring artworks in a prison camp museum, and embarking on a journey of self-discovery and education. She shares how these experiences shaped her passion for using art as a tool for positive change, from working with children battling cancer to empowering marginalized communities and advocating for mental health awareness and turning her love of art into a full time business.

Throughout her talk, she emphasizes the significance of recognizing and pursuing "green lights" – opportunities for growth and transformation. Her talk concludes with a message of encouragement to embrace change, seize opportunities, and navigate life's journey with optimism and determination.
